Personal Income Tax Registration

Personal Income Tax Registration applies if you earn more than a certain threshold, which is reviewed and set annually by Parliament. Only those earning above this amount are required to register for Personal Income Tax.

To register, the following documents and information are required:

• Certified copy of your ID

• Proof of residential address

• Original letter from your bank confirming banking details (must be stamped by the bank)

• Proof of income (such as a salary slip or payslip)

• Power of Attorney authorizing us to complete the registration on your behalf (this will be emailed to you after placing the order)

This registration process typically takes 1–2 business days, but may take longer if SARS is experiencing delays due to high volumes.

Once the registration is finalized, you will receive official proof of Personal Income Tax registration.
